Region Provence-Alps-Azur Coast

<div>Provence Alpes Côte d'Azur is a French administrative region of south-east. It is often referred to by the acronym PACA.</div>

<div>It is bordered by Italy which it is separated by the Southern Alps. To the north it borders with the Rhône-Alpes region and west to the Languedoc-Roussillon which marks the boundary Rhône. The PACA region is bounded on the south by the Mediterranean Sea.</div>

<div>The Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur encompasses six counties from the provinces of Old Regime de Provence and Dauphiné. Part of the Vaucluse is the result of the annexation of Venaissin County during the revolutionary period and the left bank of the Var and Alpes-Maritimes county of Nice was annexed to France in 1860 during the Second Empire (The County of Nice was a oldest part of the duchy of Provence before 1388, when the penalty of Nice to Savoy). Logo of the Regional Council recalls the four regions by taking their old coat in some advertisements.</div>

<div>This is the third region that produces more wealth in France.</div>
